In November 1941, on the territory of the Lodz Ghetto, there was a small area isolated – so called the Gypsy Camp (Zigeunerlager). Germans closed there more than 5 thousands of Gypsies – Roma and Sinti – brought from Burgenland on the Austrian-Hungary borderland.
On 15th January 2014 events will be held to commemorate Romani people from the Gypsy Camp on the territory of Litzmannstadt Ghetto.
We would like to invite you to the official event which will start at 1 pm on 84 Wojska Polskiego St. and to a concert called “Rain my tears was rinsing…” that will start at 6:30 pm and will be performed by “Perła i Bracia”.
