About BOTZ/Marshes project:
Ukrainian Polesia region is the most geographically widespread marsh in Europe. Songs sung in its villages, describe women's fate, longings, work life and nature. Songs turn into magic spells and lullabies. The concert opens with a capella singing. Maniucha's voice is a starting point for interaction with musicians and musical improvisation. Melodies processed, merged and live-directed by Assaf Talmudi create a sound web. The audience finds itself in the middle of this sound landscape with the ability to move around within the space. In each spot the performance sounds differently.
