Marek Edelman Dialogue Center with the Factory of Equality in Łódź as well as the Women's Studies Centre - Łódź would like to invite you to the next HUMAN LIBRARY. The event will be November 18, 11.00 a.m. - 7.00 p.m.

For the sixth time there will be in Łódź the worldwide known project, which was launched in Denmark in 2000 at the Roskilde Festival. The idea is simple - we arrange the Library, where Books are the real people, representing different excluded and stereotyped groups. Everyone can be a Reader - you can come, register and get a library card. Then you'll "borrow" selected Book and talk to them for 30 minutes.
All questions are allowed, of course with respecting the principles of personal culture and respect for other person.

During the Human Library you can take part in the online action TWITTERSTORM FOR EQUALITY!

Twitter and other social media are celebrated as spaces where everyone can voice their message and be heard by the world at large. In fact, in this media visibility is strictly tied to material resources. Those who have money can buy their way to visibility. During the action TWITTERSTORM FOR EQUALITY we will experiment to make a social media campaigns visible despite Twitter’s constraints.
