On May 15, in the City Hall of the Municipality of Łódź, a ceremony will be held during which Professor Rudolf Sarközi will receive the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Polish Republic.

The award will be presented by the Vice-Voivod, Paweł Bejda.

Two day later, Halina Elczewska, who originated the idea of the Survivors' Park, will receive the Order of Merit for the City of Łódź.
